dc.descriptionThis article describes the circumstances surrounding the signature of the Treaty in Parliament, which took place on March 3-5, 1803, when don Pedro Quijada, commander in chief to the River Bío-Bío Region, acted as repre­sentative of Governor Luis Muñoz Guzmán on behalf of the Spanish party, and two hundred and thirty-nine chief caciques acted on behalf of the indigenous party. The most im­portant clauses of the treaty are presented.en-US
dc.descriptionSe exponen las circunstancias que rodearon la firma de un tratado en el parlamento que tuvo lugar en los días 3 a 5 de marzo de 1803, en que por la parte española actuó don Pedro Quijada, comandante general de la región del río Bío-Bío en representación del goberna­dor Luis Muñoz de Guzmán, y por la parte indígena un número de doscientos treinta y nueve caciques principales. Se presentan las cláusulas más importantes del tratado.es-ES
